Description

As a child Maud Guilfoyle spent summers by the sea on Fire Island and in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Her mother, Peregrine Higgins was an artist, and her grandfather a photographer. In her twenties she lived in the Southwest with incredible vistas of sky, dusty pink colored mountains and silver rivers running through the landscape. Nature, and human interface with it, are threaded throughout her art. While writing 5 ebooks about art, one a memoir (Art By Two), Maud learned a few exercises to help your process. She has taught privately and in The Art School at Old Church and The Art Center Northern New Jersey for 28 years.
